You may have seen on my Twitter that I finally found and bought some of that Peanut Butter & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams peanut butter.
This stuff is the bomb! I love the flavor of this PB, and it’s just so nice and sweet and creamy. I also like that you don’t have to put this product in the fridge so your PB stays easy-to-spread.
I happily woke up to a nice toasty piece of Great Harvest Bread Company Flax Oat Bran bread topped with some of my new DCD PB. Delish! I love how glossy the PB looks while you spread it. I also enjoyed a nice mugga Fresh Market coffee – 1/2 Breakfast Blend + 1/2 Summer Breeze. Great way to start the day!
I probably could have made breakfast more nutritious by eating some other goodies, but we were in a rush to go to…
…the Farmers Market!
We hit up two today – the first features all local farmers and businesses, many of which use eco-friendly farming methods (like using rainwater to water their plants), and the second features just a whole buncha fruit and veggies. I prefer the first one to support the local community and because of their principles, which I support. The second one is nice because the selection is just so great. Tons and tons of stuff there!
At the second market, we checked out their greenery options.
I really liked these little yellow guys (whatever they are).
And, whenever we finally get a house, I’d like to grow some of these big pink flowers (hibiscus) because they remind me of our Bahamas wedding.
Our stash…
Broccoli sprouts, tri-color green beans, swiss chard, and some local grass fed beef – eye of round (for a roast on Sunday).
The chard is so pretty! I love the rosy-red stems.
Peppers (1 red, 1 orange, 1 white), red potatoes, celery, and bananas.
We ended up using the peppers for dinner and they were quite good! Dinner post up next!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!

which two markets did you go to? my guess is that the second one is the one near the airport?
I was going to ask the same thing as the comment above! I would love to know which markets you go to. We never wake up in time to get the good stuff. ha!
