A Chic Makeover + A Giveaway (3 Winners!)

The Chic Life has a new look! What do you think of my bloggie makeover? Not too shabby, eh? I would hope not considering how many hours (and hours and hours) I poured into it over the weekend.
I’ll go into the nitty gritty of how I moved my blog another day…maybe this weekend?

I would definitely wear that new necklace out for some sushi if I did an Eat in Month challenge! Way to go!
yummm! agreed with sushi, however the necklace would look elegant as you eat a very tasty steak. So steak house would be PRIME!
I love the necklace… It is so elegant, after EIM I would go to my favortie place to eat, it’s a japanese steakhouse, and they cook the food in front of u and it is so fun.
Beautiful jewelery and the cookies look delicious! The earrings would be my first pick because they would look great with everything! Ethiopian cuisine gets my vote, it’s packed with flavor and antioxidant filled spices!

First off, LOVE THE NEW BLOG! It’s gorgeous!

Third, OMG – eat in month IS almost over! I hadn’t even thought about where to go out and eat to celebrate. Hmmm, I’m offering three suggestions:
1.) Zink in Uptown {i love their food}
2.) 300 East here on East Blvd
or
3.) McCormick & Schmicks in South Park – I’m not sure if you’re a seafood fan, but I just love their fresh fish menu, and the King Salmon is ahhhhhmazing!
Personally, my first stop will probably be lunch at Pikes on Monday. Yum!

I’d go out to eat at The Melting Pot, if there’s one near you. I find that most restaurants serve things that are fairly easy to replicate at home, but perfect fondue is something that still eludes me!

Chris and I are contemplating on where we should eat out too. We’re thinking this Moroccan restaurant called marrakech but that would be a splurge and cancel out our other eat in month savings lol I can totally relate to hours and hours of blog work and switching over I was about to cry when it didn’t look quite the same. Such hard work, you are awesome for doing it all by yourself

May I ask how you transfered your site so that it shows up right in reader and google? It’s weird for google when I type in eatingrd it still shows the mytastytravels address and not just http://eatingrd.com? wasn’t sure since I can’t do a 301 direct with subdomains. Does it just take time? Thanks!

As for eats I would base the decision on what you have been craving the most this month. Something ethnic with specialized ingredients that you don’t generally make at home. When we go out most often it’s for Thai, Vietnamese or Indian.
Gosh… they’re all great prizes. For me, it’s really tied between the earrings and the cookies. I’d be so happy with either. I’m gonna say that cookies though.
