hi genesis, im from the philippines and no, bibingka isnt the same as sweet rice although both desserts are made with rice. bibingka usually has salted egg in it. the sticky rice dessert made here is more commonly known as “biko”

Any chance we could get the recipe for the sticky rice? My son would absolutely love it. Not to mention the hubby. Everything looks so good.

That's funny, my family comes from (mainly) Java and we have the sweet rice, the lumpia (here you write it loempia) and pancit (we call it mihoen). All so tasty!

oh man i miss pancit! ive never tried making it myself. i dont think its possible to make a single serving. have you guys ever made meat lumpias?

All of that looks so good! I've never had pancit or lumpia before, drooling over here! I think I'd like to join the bake sale with a batch of fruit and nut granola what date do we have to have it made by? You just have such awesome ideas Diana!
