Cheap Chic Kitchen Goodies

I had some retail therapy at the mall the other day.

When I was younger, I purchased clothes. Now, I purchase random kitchen goodies. I ended up picking up a few random and affordable things at Sur la Table the other day.

A mini Le Creuset dish with lid – $20 (not super cheap, but compared to the full-size version, a steal!)

Hubby made dinner tonight.

Earthfare cheeseburgers, Alexia waffle fries, and grilled asparagus. He even got to bust out the grill! I can’t wait till the weather warms up more and we can use the grill all the time.

Bailey says hey guys! He also wants you to visit my Facebook page (click) for exclusive Bailey photos and other fun times.

And check the bloggie around 11am ET on Wednesday for a new Work Chic post about the perfect pair of pants for (business casual) work.

Have you found any cheap-chic kitchen goodies lately? What are they?

  1. Le Creuset is my absolute FAVE brand of kitchen goodies. Why oh why must they be so expensive? If you have a Marshalls or TJ Maxx nearby, you may want to check them out though- about a month ago, mine had a whole slew of La Creuset pitchers, ramekins, cassoulets and more…I ended up with two mini ramekins and a small casserole dish for $25!

    • I feel like they’ll get better use. I don’t like wearing the same clothes too much but I love using the same kitchen goodies over and over and OVER! hahahaha

Looking forward to your work chic post! I just realized today, that I own no real business (casual) clothes, as my workplace is totally casual (read: jeans, shirts, sneakers).

  3. I love kitchen gadgets too! But then I end up forgetting to use them! I saw the mini Creuset pots at Marshall’s – they’re adorable!

    • I’ve been toying around with a baked egg recipe in my head for months now, but I haven’t quite worked out how I want the flavors to go together. I love your tex-mex style one. Sounds good! 🙂

  4. Love the pink glitter spatula and small Le Creuset pot! I have the clear glitter spatulas by Le Creuset and they make baking that much better! Also own a large white Le Creuset round pot and it cooks like a dream.
