Green Jeans Consignment Charity Pre-Sale 2013 {Southpark}

On Thursday, after Zumba class, I headed over to the Green Jeans Consignment Sale to check out the charity pre-sale. They sell a limited number of tickets for early access to the sale with proceeds benefiting charity. How fabulous is that? It’s a also a great way for people to get first dibs on the goods and spare themselves the longer wait lines for dressing rooms.

Volunteers also get to access the pre-sale, and since I’m volunteering with my photography and blogging skills, I scored a golden ticket. Woohoo!

I headed straight to the designer section first.

I almost bought these green Givenchy heels, but they were just way too painful. I loved the style, and I thought the price was reasonable at $75, but I just couldn’t handle walking around in them for an extended period of time. I’m not so good with the sky-high heels.

I went back for those red shoes I blogged about previously. Unfortunately, they were too small, and I had to put them back.

And I remember seeing these Sam Edelmon’s on shoe displays (I believe) last year for around $200. There was a pair here in my size for a mere $36. Though, I ended up turning them down since I have a hard time with super high heels.

And here’s Rita and some of the volunteers re-arranging the racks to be more user-friendly. The line for the dressing room goes down this aisle, so they switched out the maternity goods with workout and lounge. This team did a wonderful job organizing everything and then ensuring everything stayed that way. This is a well-oiled machine!

There are also several vendors at the event – from Thirty One to Tupperware to Pampered Chef and more.

And in case you were wondering, they do have several dressing rooms so you can try on to your heart’s desire.

I definitely found some goodies to take home.

Which may or may not have included the coat pictured in the topmost photo…coincidentally, also the first thing that caught my eye when I showed up.
