Two Hands Brunch, Jeans Upgrade, Savore Al Fresco

After hitting up one of my favorite yoga studios, Y7, I spent a fun Saturday with my friend, Katherine. On the agenda: brunch. But we ended up doing much more: Two Hands Brunch, Jeans Upgrade, and Savore Al Fresco.

We met up at a restaurant I’d seen all over Instagram and was really interested in checking out, Two Hands. It has a glass front on Mott Street in Little Italy. The wait was super l0ng – over an hour. But, we hadn’t seen each other in awhile, so the time was good for catching up.

Don’t mind the crazy, post-yoga hair. Lol

The space was small, like most NYC restaurants. I loved the brightness. There were fun clouds hanging from the ceiling, and colorful artwork lined one of the walls. I guess it looks dark in the above photo, but I think it’s the photo lighting.

We couldn’t decide between several items, so we shared three: ricotta toast, an acai bowl, and a sandwich with thick-sliced bacon. We wanted to try the banana bread, but they were out. So the ricotta toast was our backup. Everything was as delicious as it looked. It was light and fresh. Perfect post-yoga eats. And so close to the studio too.

Jeans Upgrade with Paige Denim

We decided to keep the day going by heading to SoHo for some shopping.

Katherine gushed about how much she loves her Paige jeans, which she was wearing that day. I hadn’t purchased new denim in forever and thought it may be time for an upgrade.

After trying on a couple pairs, I could see why she loved the brand so much. The jeans were well-made, and the material was so soft. The staff was super friendly that day too.

I tried on about four different pairs. Here are some of them. Can you tell which pair I got?

I actually got two: the black pair and the last regular (non-destroyed) denim. Scored the latter on sale too. Whoop! It’s been pretty hot in NYC this summer, but I’m hoping to wear my new denim more this fall.

The day was so nice while we were walking around, we decided to take the weather in a bit more and grab dinner at Savore Ristorante.

This endive salad was so light and refreshing. We split this plus a pasta dish.

This ravioli was simply filled with cheese and topped with a tomato-based sauce. It was a lovely way to end the day.

Thanks for the fun Saturday adventure, Katherine!
