My July 2016 ClassPass Classes

#1 POUND with Joyce at Crunch Gym

ClassPass NYC: My July 2016 Month Recap

As you guys know, I sometimes have a love-hate relationship with fitness. I love being fit but I don’t always like doing workouts that feel like workouts. I’m glad that POUND keeps toning (which I sometimes try to avoid) in my life. POUND is such a great workout packed into only 45 minutes. And I do it because it’s so fun. There are moments it feels very workout-like, but it’s such a good time, I push through. And sometimes I even like it!

#2 WeFlowHard Vinyasa Yoga at Y7 Studio

ClassPass NYC: My July 2016 Month Recap

Along the same lines as POUND, I love how Kate sneaks little toning moments into her yoga classes at Y7 Studio. She did a crazy move in one of our recent classes where we did a pose similar to the one pictured above. We go from downward dog split to this and back up and down and up and down and then we hold the down position and bend our arms up and down, up and down, and then hover. Hello, muscles!

#3 “Breathe On Me” Classic Britney (On Chairs) with Mitchell Wayne Productions

This is actually one of my favorite Britney songs. So underrated. Anywho, I don’t know what happened to the video for this one, but it was fun! I do remember that much! So, instead, I’ll share this amazing version of “Breathe on Me” choreo by Brian Friedman and Yanis Marshall:

Did he say, “22 8-counts?!” Whoa.

#4 “Make Me” Classic Britney (On Chairs) with Mitchell Wayne Productions

“Make Me” Britney chair dance class with @mwaynepro ❤️ @joosebox killed it!

“Make Me” is one of Britney’s new songs. I actually hadn’t heard it before class. It was slower than I expected, but I loved the little hit moments in it. Mitchell always does a great job making sure we hear the little beats in the song that the choreo goes to.

#5 “Boys” Classic Britney with Mitchell Wayne Productions

“Boys” with @mwaynepro! ❤️ @kbible91 is a fantastic cheerleader and dance friend! 😄

“Boys” was a fun number that I did with Mitchell Wayne Productions. Gotta love a classic Britney song.

#6 Antigravity Restorative with ANYA

ClassPass NYC: My July 2016 Month Recap

I always enjoy restorative classes with ANYA. Their studio is so peaceful. It’s such a beautiful oasis in NYC.

July 2016 ClassPass Summary

I had a ton of travel during this month of my ClassPass membership, so my class attendance was much lower than normal. Trips included Zumba Convention (where I was getting quite the workout experience) and a family trip to the lake. I also was doing class once per week to prepare for my hip hop performance in NYC. So, I was way under my max number of classes of 10. But, despite this, given the normal drop in rate for the classes I typically attend (which ranges from $20-30), I don’t think I lost money.

Cost Breakdown

  • $125 for 10 classes per month
  • 6 classes
  • $20.83 per class
