A Chic Makeover + A Giveaway (3 Winners!)

The Chic Life has a new look! What do you think of my bloggie makeover? Not too shabby, eh? I would hope not considering how many hours (and hours and hours) I poured into it over the weekend.

I’ll go into the nitty gritty of how I moved my blog another day…maybe this weekend?

For now, I want to C-E-L-E-B-R-A-T-E!!!!!!!!!!

What better way to celebrate than with a giveaway?

Since I’m feeling generous, I’m offering three different prizes for three different winners! More chances to win is always a plus, no? ;)

yummm! agreed with sushi, however the necklace would look elegant as you eat a very tasty steak. So steak house would be PRIME!

  2. Brittney says

I love the necklace… It is so elegant, after EIM I would go to my favortie place to eat, it’s a japanese steakhouse, and they cook the food in front of u and it is so fun.

  3. Megan M says

Beautiful jewelery and the cookies look delicious! The earrings would be my first pick because they would look great with everything! Ethiopian cuisine gets my vote, it’s packed with flavor and antioxidant filled spices!

  4. junghwa says

    you’re on my google reader!
and i forgot to mention where you should dine out in my previous comment.
i think you should dine out at french restaurant with wonderful course meals!!

First off, LOVE THE NEW BLOG! It’s gorgeous!

Second, the jewelry is amazing! Loving those earrings to pieces!

Third, OMG – eat in month IS almost over! I hadn’t even thought about where to go out and eat to celebrate. Hmmm, I’m offering three suggestions:

    1.) Zink in Uptown {i love their food}
2.) 300 East here on East Blvd
    or
3.) McCormick & Schmicks in South Park – I’m not sure if you’re a seafood fan, but I just love their fresh fish menu, and the King Salmon is ahhhhhmazing!

Personally, my first stop will probably be lunch at Pikes on Monday. Yum!

    :)

I shall tweet and blog about your giveaway and new blog as soon as I get back from Boston Sunday night. Those cookies are making me drool! LOL

  6. Emily says

I think I would choose the cookies. They look delicious!

And I’d eat out at a classic burger place and get a nice, juicy burger :)

  7. Marie says

I like the earrings first, necklace second.

If I were you I’d eat at either Olive Garden or Japanese Hibachi Restaurant.

  8. says

I’d love to win the earrings. Beautiful!

I’d go out to eat at The Melting Pot, if there’s one near you. I find that most restaurants serve things that are fairly easy to replicate at home, but perfect fondue is something that still eludes me!

  9. Marie says

Where can I subscribe to your blog feed? I don’t see the link on your page. Am I a doofus? I am searching all over…lol

I already follow on Twitter tiger1962

  10. says

i would love to win the necklace or earrings! They are beautiful! You should go out to an awesome sushi place onces you finish your challenge!

  11. says

gorgeous!!! I would love those earrings, but everything looks great :) Chris and I are contemplating on where we should eat out too. We’re thinking this Moroccan restaurant called marrakech but that would be a splurge and cancel out our other eat in month savings lol I can totally relate to hours and hours of blog work and switching over I was about to cry when it didn’t look quite the same. Such hard work, you are awesome for doing it all by yourself :)

  12. says

The new blog makeover looks great! I love that you kept that original teapot photo–I loved that image!
Fun giveaway–my first choice would definitely be the necklace. It’s gorgeous!

  13. LisaM says

Your first meal should be something that you don’t know how to cook yourself and have not had all month…maybe your favorite bar or cafe?

I love the earrings you made and they would be my choice if I were to win!

  14. says

aaaand I also changed your feed in reader :) May I ask how you transfered your site so that it shows up right in reader and google? It’s weird for google when I type in eatingrd it still shows the mytastytravels address and not just http://eatingrd.com? wasn’t sure since I can’t do a 301 direct with subdomains. Does it just take time? Thanks!

  15. Coralee says

I would love to win that necklace!
As for eats I would base the decision on what you have been craving the most this month. Something ethnic with specialized ingredients that you don’t generally make at home. When we go out most often it’s for Thai, Vietnamese or Indian.

  16. says

Gosh… they’re all great prizes. For me, it’s really tied between the earrings and the cookies. I’d be so happy with either. I’m gonna say that cookies though.

Love the earrings as a first choice, then necklace. Cookies look delish but I’m trying to lose weight. Love your new blog set up! It looks very cheerful!

  18. Lori H says

I would love to win any of your pretty jewelry, but the rainbow crystal earrings are gorgeous! I would eat sushi-it’s healthy and there are oh so many options!!!

  19. says

Honestly, any place with sushi since I can’t get good sushi in Europe! I don’t really care where! I don’t really eat out to begin with b/c I’m over german food after being here for 2 years already, and the exchange rate kills me! And yes, I do have two addresses! One is military (U.S.), that I pick up on base and the other is for german mail to come to my house. ;)

  20. Marie says

I would love to win the earrings – how do I subscribe to your feed? I don’t see the link. The necklace is gorgeous too and that would be my second choice!! SO nice of you to have this contest – thank YOU!

  21. says

  27. says

I would LOVE the necklace. I’m a necklace girl for sure!!

If I were you, I’d be heading out to some fabulous bakery for a decadent croissant or some such item. Something you would never concoct at home. Pain au chocolat. Drool.

  28. Caitlin says

I was thinking about this just the other day. I stopped making jewelry since but I may still have the supplies to whip up the earrings you were supposed to get. If not, I’d love to send you something else anyways. Email me – thechiclife at gmail dot com. :)
