Outside of the Law of Attraction, the words we repeat to ourselves repeatedly programs out subconscious mind. And your subconscious mind runs an estimated 90-95% of your life without you being consciously aware or not.

One of my health coaching clients recently asked me, “Can you lose weight with just your words?”
I told her that my belief is that words do matter, but that words alone will not yield results.
When it comes to weight loss, if you walk around all day saying, “I lose weight with ease” but then eat 3 bags of Cheetos every single day, whilst every situation is different, I imagine that weight loss is not likely to happen with ease or at all in this scenario.

And conversely, I believe if you’re making all the right strategic changes and improving your diet, if you are constantly saying unkind things to yourself (or others) about your weight or or your journey, I believe this can hold you back or at minimum make the process much more difficult.
