Now, a fashion show at a bowling alley may not make much sense at first, but you see, they turned part of the bowling alley into a catwalk!
They named the event accordingly – Pin Up, Pin Down – a mix of the bowling theme and the pin-up girl themed outfits from local boutiques to be featured in the show. The show was produced by FashionFrontRunner.
I attended the event as a guest of Ten Park Lanes.
Proceeds from the event went to a great cause – the Levine Cancer Institute’s Carolinas Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
I got a prime spot for the event and got to hang out with the professional photographers at the end of the runway.
And here are some photos from the show (scroll to the end for a link to the entire album):
I loved the retro-themed outfits!
The event was a great time and everything went wonderfully. And snaps to the models for working that red carpet! I probably would have tripped.
Thank you to Ten Park Lanes for inviting me to attend this fabulous event!
