Nothing better than fresh baked cookies to make you feel all warm and cozy inside. After the first meal of my tofu smorgashborg, I wanted something comforting for dessert.

These were some really interesting cookies and had some unique ingredients: dried coconut flakes, maple syrup, etc.

The only liquid ingredients were canola oil and maple syrup. Because there weren’t any more binding ingredients, the batter didn’t stick together all that well. Actually, it stuck much better to my hands as I tried to form them into tiny balls. Anywho, the end result was well worth the gooey hands. Hot, chocolatel-y, and just dough-y enough.
