A Food Bloggie Dinner (Special Guest Carrots N Cake)

On Friday night, we had a lovely food bloggie dinner with special guests Tina (of Carrots N Cake) and her hubby Mal. They were in town visiting Kath and Matt who planned our evening get-together.

We all met up at Zada Jane’s Corner Cafe.

The inside was so cute and colorful.

I even got a turquoise straw! All the straws around the table were different colors, but I guess they must have somehow known the turquoise was my fave.

I had some True Earth Organic Chardonnay to drink.

There were a lot of brewskies down the table.

I split my entree with my friend, Dana. Our entree came with a side salad with the most amazing sun-dried tomato vinaigrette. It was delicious and juuuuust spicy enough to love.

For the main course, we got the Shrimp & Grits – a Southern Classic!.

We thought they were pretty awesome.

Look at all the salads to my right! That’s four in a row!

Everyone seemed to have a great time and enjoyed the food.

For dessert, Dana and I split a piece of the fuji apple cake with a caramel sauce.

We had no problems polishing dessert off…with a little help from Kath.
