Morning’s cuppa: Fresh Market Spring Blend .
I must have slept wrong last night because I woke up with a huge crick in my neck and my neck was achy all day!
9:30 am – 4 Grain Hot Cereal + More Coffee – First Signs of Feeling Full (6)
I was so excited to use my new camera today for my at-work shots. Can anyone tell the difference?
Here’s another angle.
- 1/4 cup TJ’s hot 4-grain cereal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp flaxseed
Zapped in microwave for 1 min 30 secs
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries on top
- 1 tbsp sliced almonds on top
- sprinkling of FM Cherry Vanilla granola
I really enjoyed the granola on top – it added some nice crunchy texture in addition to those almonds.
I also went with the coffee-crew to grab some coffee. I tried a flavor suggestion I recently got from Kath – Butterscotch Toffee…it was yummy!
1:00 pm – Soul Food – Full (7)
I had lunch plan with a friend I met on a previous project and we decided to hit up a local soul-food style restaurant. Our meal started with some super-delicious cornbread and butter.
I got a sweet tea to drink.
I got the fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and collard greens.
Lunch was soooo good! Too good! Not only was it not-so-healthy, but I overate, too! I’m not too stressed about the fact that the meal was “unhealthy”, but I am a little disappointed I didn’t show more restraint. Oopsie!
4:45 pm – Raw Veggies – Content (5)
I remembered I had some raw veggies in the fridge from yesterday, so I snacked on those late in the day. They were nice and refreshing!
9:30 pm – Pizza – First Signs of Feeling Full (6)
Hubby really wanted pizza today (and I kinda did, too), so he picked some up on his way back from class. I think I over did it with the servings, though. I started with a piece of pepperoni. Then, I moved on to cheese and then a third piece of cheese! I just had water with dinner.
Not the healthiest day of eats, but pretty tasty.
