Hi friends! Want to eat healthy but short on time in the morning? Here’s a super simple (basically) no-cook clean eating breakfast recipe that you can whip up in a jiffy. Seriously, I think it took me less than 5 minutes to make this. Here’s my Easy Almond Butter Banana Honey Toast Recipe.
Okay, I’d classify this as more of a non-recipe. But, I put it in recipe format so it’s easier to get the amounts and all that fun stuff.
This recipe is inspired by one of the many breakfasts I enjoyed at Bluestone Lane Coffee in NYC. I never planned to order it, but what do you know…
One day they were sampling this new (at the time) Almond Butter Banana Honey Toast. And I loved it!
On a subsequent visit, I ordered the toast for breakfast and was surprised at how filling it is. I think it’s the mix of whole grain bread and almond butter.
Pantry Food
Another thing I like about this is that you can usually make it even when you haven’t been to the grocery store in awhile. If you’re anything like me, you usually have bread, almond butter, bananas, honey, and cinnamon on hand. And guess what? That’s all you need.
I did decide to give this toast a minor health boost by adding some chia seeds on top. It’s such an easy way to get more superfoods into your diet. Why not?
Easy Almond Butter Banana Honey Toast Recipe and How-To
Ok, here’s how to make this Easy Almond Butter Banana Honey Toast Recipe. And you’ll find the printable version of this at the end of the recipe.
Step 1: Toast your bread.
Step 2: Spread a nice, thick, even layer of your favorite nut butter on top.
For this toast, I used Nuttzo.
Step 3: Add toppings. For the best flavor combo, top the almond butter with sliced bananas, followed by a drizzle of honey, sprinkle of cinnamon, and an optional sprinkle of chia seeds.
Step 4: Enjoy!
And if you’re really in a rush, you could probably fold this in half or top with more bread to make it easier to eat this breakfast on the go.
This could totally be vegan if you either left the honey off or subbed a different sweetener of choice. Or skipped the honey altogether. The bananas are already pretty sweet if you want to enjoy a no-sugar-added breakfast.

Can I use peanut butter instead if desired?
Hi Max, yes definitely. Any nut butter should do.
