Hi friends! So back in March, I attended my very first planner conference. Yes, all things planner for planner lovers. We all descended upon San Francisco, California with our paper planners, stickers, pens, and other supplies in hand. And guess how many people were there?! 1,200! In this post, I’m sharing my PlannerCon 2019 vlog and experience. This is part 1 of 2 with part 2 coming soon!
Be sure to watch the vlog because there’s a lot of detail in there!

How Many Planner Lovers?!
In case you missed it in the intro of this post, there were 1,200 planner lovers in attendance. So cool, right?!
Who knew that many people loved their planners so much? There were even some attendees who had traveled from other countries to be there for PlannerCon 2019.
If you ever attend a PlannerCon event, be sure to bring your supplies you no longer use. You can drop them off at the de-stash table and then take some de-stashed items home.
I’ve done some fun decorations using items from the de-stash table. Check out the links below for a Plan with Me video using 100% de-stash stickers and washi tape!
What to Wear to PlannerCon?
Not sure what to wear to PlannerCon?
Most people wore pretty casual clothes. I’d say dress comfortably and bring layers in case you get cold in the conference rooms and workshops. Here’s what I wore – Zumba sweatpants and cozy tops. And definitely sneakers for shoes!
PlannerCon Swag, Goodies, and Gifts
There were a lot of cool, exclusive planner supplies we got for attending PlannerCon. Like this custom sticker sheet Krissyanne Designs did for the Amy Tangerine vision board workshop.
And there were surprises!
For example, this little ticket got us 2 rolls of exclusive PlannerCon-themed bow washi tape and a PlannerCon PenGem pen. And it was my first PenGem!!!
Did I mention the swag? One thing we got is a pretty pink package from Stephanie Fleming of The Happy Planner. Inside – a notebook and a whole sticker book! And it’s one of my faves!
Check out the vlog here and for part 2 because there’s more there!
Speaking of Stephanie, we got to hear her speak!
And we learned about an amazing charity called Evolve You Foundation.
Learning About New Supplies
One thing that was super cool was learning about everyone’s favorite planner supplies.
For example, I hadn’t tried these Micron pens before, but at one of the sessions, both the girl to my left and to my right had these Micron pens. Elsa (to my right) even let me do some test writing with her pen. And it wrote so nicely, that I almost immediately purchased a set for myself. They’re one of my go-to’s now!
Dinner with New Planner Friends
Speaking of Elsa, she, Silvia, and Jackie let me join them for dinner so I didn’t eat alone. Yay for making planner friends! These girls were so cool, and I felt really lucky to have met them.
And Silvia inspired me to look into Travelers Notebooks!
Planner Supplies Shopping
Did I mention the amazing shopping! I learned about a whole bunch of awesome planner supplies Etsy shops and businesses that I didn’t know about before PlannerCon.
How pretty are these gilded stickers by Planning World?! They’re stunning, and I’m so looking forward to using these in my planner.
There are more shops featured in the vlog, so be sure to watch to see who else was there!
More Planner Fun!
Stay tuned for part 2 – coming soon! In the meantime, here’s some more planner fun for you…
