There was once a time when I blogged in real time, posting the related food & recipe photos of the day on that day. And though I’d like to do that all the time, my schedule has been too crazy for it as of late. So with that, I bring you random food photos from last Sunday.
My brother-in-law came into town this past weekend for a boys night complete with a draft.
In the morning, we made a brunch feast of scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, Great Harvest rolls, and my Stuff-Your-Face Breakfast Potatoes. I forgot how good these potatoes are. And, they’re pretty easy, too. I think hubby was going to get a package of pre-prepared hash browns, but these were cheaper and more clean.
The weather has been strange lately. Cool almost more like spring since it’s lacking the smell of fall in the air. We had brunch on our patio to enjoy it. How’s the weather where you are?
weather is great here! i’ve been eating lunch outside all the time, which is so nice. our porch is usually too hot to eat dinner on (too much sun) unless we eat late. and breakfast is too rushed… but maybe this weekend? 🙂

Looks yummy! Hopefully your schedule can slow down a bit so you can take a breath! I’m in KC and we FINALLY have gotten rain this weekend! It has been super dry and hot so we needed it but I was really looking forward to spending some time outside. Maybe later today!
