After a peaceful night at the B&B, we all woke up excited for breakfast. At least I did.
I knew what to expect and couldn’t wait for Billy and the rest of the Reynolds Mansion team to blow everyone away with their breakfast skills.
It was a little too cold to enjoy coffee on the porch, which is one of my favorite things to do at this beautiful B&B. But, there are so many cozy spots around to snuggle up to. Even the rooms are fun to hang out in.
Love my team!
We started with poached pears and (I believe it was) banana bread.
And for the main event – this delicious creation. There were so many tasty layers. Let me try to remember them all. I think the base is an English muffin. On top: cous cous, turkey?, asparagus, poached egg, and sauce. It was so good. I think I’ve had this one before and remember it being a favorite.
After recouping for a bit (we were stuffed!), we headed into downtown Asheville. It was a little gray and rainy but nothing that could keep us from having a good time.
I knew I had to take my team to Dobra Tea. You guys know how I feel about this place.
The weekend was mostly about having fun, but we did do a mini goal workshop at Dobra Tea. The environment here is really relaxing and open, so it was perfect.
Check out Erin’s cool mug.
And while you’re at it, be sure to check out her blog (click here). She and her husband have an exciting project in the works, and they’re blogging about it. Their blog is all about their preparations to sail around the world! So exciting! Adventure-lovers and boating enthusiast will love following their journey.
I decided to try the matcha shortbread cookies with the tulsi tea. At least I think I got tulsi tea this time. It may have been shak-tea again. I love them both so much.
And I’ve yet to find anywhere quite like Dobra. So, when I go, I really get my fill. I got a bubble tea to go. Not sure if it’s just my area, but it seems like it’s sometimes hard to find places that serve bubble tea with brewed tea. Most places I seem to find are made with a powder base, which I don’t like as much as fresh-brewed tea.
And we all got some tea to go to take a piece of this experience home.
May you be filled with loving kindness. May you be well. May you be peaceful and at ease. May you be happy. ~ Tibetan Blessing
