We took Monday off so we could enjoy a full day Sunday. And between our beach adventure and Turkish feast, I think it was well worth it. Not wanting to make Monday only a travel day, I managed to wake up early and take the bike out for one last ride around Davis Island. For this trip, at least.
{Downtown Tampa in the distance}
I spotted this pink bird on the beach and tried sneaking up to get a photo of it.
It just stood there and looked at me. Lol! I kept thinking it would fly away, but it didn’t. Though I guess I didn’t really get that close to it.

Our Airbnb had one of those boxes of quote cards. This is the one I pulled:
Count your age by friends, not years. Count your life by smiles, not tears. ~John Lennon
We’re going to miss this Airbnb.
It was great!
Time for travel!
Sis and I went to different gates, unfortunately, so we couldn’t wait with each other.
These escalators reminded me of the Labyrinth!
The weather in NY was rainy and many flights were delayed due to low clouds. Luckily, mine was on time.
We landed in 59 degree weather. It was a shock from the sunny Florida morning.
And look who was waiting for me in NYC! This pup needed some serious grooming! Haha!
