Spa Day at Shoji Spa
We headed to Shoji Spa for the day. We started with an hour in the hot tub, which is outdoors. Luckily, the day was unusually warm for this time of year. The high was around 60 degrees F.
As the sun set, we headed back to the B&B.
Check out this beautiful sunset!
Out and About – Downtown Asheville
Jerusalem Garden Cafe
For dinner, we visited one of the bride-to-be’s favorite spots, Jerusalem Garden Cafe. We made reservations for 7pm because we read online that they had live entertainment at that time.
Dana and I shared a couple entrees: the kafta kabobs…
…and the vegetarian platter. We swapped out the baba gannoush for extra falafel.
The entertainment was fantastic! We loved the live music and dancer. They were all so talented.
Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar
For post dinner drinks, we headed to Battery Park Book Exchange and Champagne Bar.
We enjoyed champagne cocktails and dessert. I opted for a cinnamon roll because I spotted them at the dessert bar and couldn’t resist. #teamcarbs
My Favorite Reynolds Mansion Breakfast
B&B coffee is the best coffee!
On Sunday, we enjoyed my favorite Reynolds Mansion breakfast. The fruit is great, but…
…this maple cayenne bacon is AMAZING! It also comes with scrambled eggs, grits, and Billy’s famous biscuits. Soooooo good!
And congrats to Billy and team for getting featured in the news recently!
This blue and white house is one of my favorite pieces of decoration in the B&B. It’s so pretty.
Ghost Hunting
After breakfast, we explored the B&B to do a little ghost hunting. Billy suggested we take a bunch of photos and review them later to see if we noticed anything unusual.
I’ve been through all of my photos a few times and don’t see anything. Do you?
I once captured some orbs when I took a picture of the Reynolds Mansion dogs on the stairs. Don’t think I ever shared that here on the blog, but maybe I should?
Check out this gingerbread house version of the B&B…amazing!
Can’t remember if I’ve talked about this before, but this mirror has been in Reynolds Mansion since it was built. Billy told us that every single person who has ever entered Reynolds Mansion has had their reflection show in this mirror. So cool!
And after packing up, we got to meet the new Reynolds Mansion pup, Finn. Isn’t he cute?
And since we could squeeze it in, we visited Dobra Tea one last time on the way out of town. I enjoyed another Shak-Tea and lima bean hummus plate. Dana got the blooming flower tea. I video’ed it opening up for the vlog if you want to see how it works.
And with that, it was time for all of us to head out of Asheville. The rest of the girls drove back to Charlotte while I had a couple flights ahead with a connection in Charlotte.
The flight out of Asheville was really pretty. I loved seeing the rolling hills in the distance.
All in all, what a fun Hen Party Weekend! Already looking forward to celebrating Dana’s big day very soon!
