Finally! The last post of my sister’s visit. After our fun day of yoga and food, we had a couple more things to experience. Related to food, naturally.
Had to snap a photo of this Filipino church because…mom. <3
LuAnne’s Wild Ginger
Sis picked a vegetarian spot, LuAnne’s Wild Ginger, for her final dinner on this NYC visit. Dad was happy about her choice.
We started with iced tea.
And we decided to share two appetizers and one entree. We got the dumplings and scallion cake. Both were really tasty.
I loved the mix of vegetables on the inside the dumplings. This could be a fun one to try to re-create.
We got the teriyaki tofu for the main event. It was served with broccoli and crunchy bean sprouts. We really enjoyed our meal at Wild Ginger. And it’s near where I do yoga, so I hope to go back for lunch sometime soon.
Rice to Riches
Sis also picked out our dessert spot – Rice to Riches.
They have more rice pudding flavors than you can imagine.
It’s a little expensive, but you get a huge portion. I had the coconut with coconut on top. It was really good!
Come back any time, Sis!
