What Are Affirmations?

Affirmations are positive statements that you can use to manifest your dream life while also re-programming your subconscious mind. I love how affirmations help you get everything you want from both a Law of Attraction and practical POV. I’m all about being practical-meets-woo.

Some people use daily affirmations to help them make positive changes in their life on a regular basis. Others use them only when they feel called. The best frequency is the one that works best for you.

What is a Vision Board?

A vision board is a manifestation method for manifesting your ideal reality by creating a collage of images, inspirational quotes, affirmations, and other positive words & graphics that represent your ideal life.

Vision boards can represent a specific theme (like money, love, etc.), a specific time period (the next year), or your dream life overall.

The power of vision boards says that what you put on your vision board will show up in your physical reality. They have for me!

Both Vision Boards and Affirmations are each a powerful tool for using the Law of Attraction. They are both also wonderful for reprogramming and tapping into the power of your subconscious mind.

How to Use Affirmations on Your Own Dream Board

While most people think vision boards are a collection of images, you can also include positive statements or even make an entire collage of vision board words. How fun would an affirmation vision board be?

Affirmations are great additions to any dream board, no matter what style or theme you’re doing.

Here’s how to use affirmations on your own vision board:

1. The first step is to download (see end of post), print, and cut these affirmation graphics. Choose your favorite page to print on a piece of paper or print all pages.
2. For the next step, gather your favorite vision board supplies (click here for my recommendations).
3. Next, look through magazines, etc. and gather your favorite photos, words, quotes, and other imagery that aligns to your personal values, goals, and dream life.
4. Lay the graphics that are resonating most strongly with you around on top of a piece of poster board. Play with them. Move them around. Have fun adding, removing, and changing everything until you’re happy with how your vision board is looking.
5. When you’re ready, use a glue stick to glue everything down.
6. For the last step, display and use your vision board or put it somewhere safe. It’s up to you how you use it!
