Manifestation and Law of Attraction Explained

What Is Manifestation?
Manifestation is turning your thoughts into reality. Bringing something you’re thinking about into your physical plane.
What Is Law of Attraction?
Law of Attraction is the universal law that like attracts like. Law of Attraction is like gravity. It’s always in play and it works a certain way. Knowing how to use it can help you bring incredible things to your life.
Manifestation vs Law of Attraction
The way I see it, when you “manifest”, you’re bringing your thoughts to reality using the “Law of Attraction.”
This is why adopting a positive mindset is so important, and why this is a foundational pillar of my 1:1 coaching program. When you think negative thoughts, you tend to be in negative energy and attract more negative things. And on the flip side, when you think positive thoughts, you are often in positive energy and attract more positive things. That’s it at a high level at least.
Can You Really Manifest ANYTHING?
Law of Attraction is a simple rule. If you can get into the right energy, you can attract anything to your life. This is why you hear so many crazy-awesome stories of people manifesting AMAZING things to their life.
What I’ve Manifested
I’ve personally manifested:
- Love (after divorce)
- Money (lots of it!)
- Healing from an injury
- Deep friendships
- Luxury apartments
- And many little things like free coffee, parking spaces in busy lots, products I want appearing in the grocery store, and more!
And I’ve helped my 1:1 clients manifest their desires too!
How to Manifest ANYTHING 2020 | 3 Simple Steps
Whilst I’ve seen many lists explaining the steps of manifestation, I’ve found that it comes down to 3 simple steps. And then there are other things that both get in the way of your manifestation and help your manifestation be successful. The other stuff will be covered in separate posts and videos in this mini series!
There are many ways to successfully manifest, so this isn’t the end all be all list, but since we all understand things differently, I’m sharing in case this resonates with you.
These are the 3 Steps to Manifest ANYTHING you want
- Decide What You Want to Manifest
- Become an Energetic Match
- Receive Your Manifestation
Let’s discuss each one more so you know how to do it!
Step 1 to Manifest: Decide What You Want to Manifest
When it comes to deliberate manifestation, you need to first know what you’d like to manifest.
Sometimes we instantly know what we want.
Sometimes we need what Abraham Hicks calls “contrast”. This is about how when you see what you don’t want, you also know what you do.
Choose something and focus on it. This also sets an intention and energetic shift with the Universe.
And you can totally change your mind, but when you’re trying to manifest something, you’ll want to focus on that thing. Bouncing back and forth or changing your mind a lot can cause resistance and delays.
Step 2 to Manifest: Become an Energetic Match
There are 2 ways to become an energetic match:
- Raise your vibe (in general)
- Get into the energy of already having the thing
Raise Your Vibe
When your vibe is high, you attract better things and your manifestations happen much more quickly. So it’s important to generally raise your vibe by practicing gratitude, going out in nature, moving your body, or doing other things to raise your frequency.
Get Into the Energy of Having the Thing
To attract the thing you desire, you want to get into the energy of that thing so Law of Attraction can work its magic. This is where manifestation techniques and aligned action can come into play.
To me, manifestation techniques are to help us get into this energy, and some of us resonate more with certain techniques than others. This is also why manifestation techniques work so differently for different people and you hear some work and don’t work. So pay attention to what gets you in the right vibe and excited and confident about your manifestation. You want to feel like it’s yours, even though you don’t have it in your physical reality yet. Get there energetically.
Aligned action can also help us get into the energy of the thing. You want to Act As If and do things you’d do if you knew your manifestation was yours and certain. So, if you knew you were going to meet your future boyfriend any day, what would you do differently than if you believed you’d be single forever? Would you buy date night outfits? Start online dating? Think about what you’d do and then do it.
Step 3 to Manifest: Receive Your Manifestation
The last step is to receive. It’s deceptively simple, but us humans can often times get in our own way.
I believe there are 3 steps to receiving:
- Be open to the signs
- Listen to your intuition
- Feel good
Be Open to the Signs
Sometimes we accidentally ignore the signs the Universe gives us as our manifestation is coming together. If you’re manifesting a boyfriend, and a cute guy asks for your help to find something, maybe instead of saying, “Do I look like I work here?”, you want to offer some assistance to the friendly gent. Maybe if you did that, you’d strike up a conversation, find you have a lot in common, and even plan a future date? Hmm.
Listen to Your Intuition
Our intuition is our internal guidance system. Sometimes, it helps guide us to our manifestation in surprising ways.
For example, maybe one day you get the nudge to go to your local coffee shop? There, the shop is busy, so you share a table with the guy who ends up being your future boyfriend?
Sometimes our intuition is more obvious, but I’ve found that when I listen to my intuition, my manifestations come together much more quickly. Dots connect, and the next thing you know, what you want is right there!
When we feel good, we attract better things. But also, we create less resistance towards our manifestation because we’re so busy enjoying our lives and having a good time.
Follow these steps, and you’ll have your manifestations before you know it!
Remember to keep your thoughts and energy positive to attract better things.
Decide on what you want, get into the energy of having it whilst also raising your vibe, and happily receive your desires as they flow in.
Have fun with this! It makes manifesting more enjoyable and you’ll see Law of Attraction working in your favor!
